This is where I portray the many unfolding chapters of my life, in mute. Whatever comes our way, whatever battle we have raging inside us, we always have a choice.
There’s always going to be something about you that changes over the years - physically, mentally, emotionally - and you are not going to be the person you started out to be. It doesn’t have to be drastic, it could be lucid. You make mistakes which are imminent in life, and you learn from them, the valuable lessons, and try to impel toward a prominent life.
One common reason for break ups in relationships, marriages, or any kind of break ups would always include the classic one, “You’ve changed a lot. You are no longer the person I once knew years ago/I first got to know,” and sometimes, it takes time just to decipher alone, the verbiage of such.
The intensity of the line which separates happiness and living in solitude is remarkable, and where you stand is decided by one side, and it’s prejudiced. If you’re changing for the better, or becoming somebody you swore you’ll never become, either way you’re still wrong to change. And the one who lays those cards on the table that determine the status of that relationship would always be the malignant one. That’s arbitrary.
So pointing your finger to someone other than yourself and assume things which only allows you toward the direction of the easy way out on such abstruse predicaments, that’s plain narcissistic. Your ego is on such an accelerating level that you fail to realise your own mistakes, your own changes, thus directing your faults to somebody else. Does that mean that in every relationship, your novelty and actions and condescending words are insignificant, whereas the other person has no right to changes and is expected to remain just the same and immaculate at all times? To become the sublime, the “perfect” one?
I think to state that every individual be impassive to changes, regardless of whether it’s physical, or along the character path, is quite..impervious. You need to accept it.
Nobody in this world is perfect. Let it be finite, but we all have to learn to be more versatile to changes and adjust if we want to keep the ones that matter with us.
Now don’t tell me YOU have not changed one single bit.
